You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Lisa Chandler, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ___CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 20:42, 4 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

The figurative painter Lisa Chandler isn't either myself, nor belongs to my family, nor is she a friend of mine. Chandler is a renowned and internationally exhibiting artist, which I know personally and of whom I've seen various art exhibitions in Leipzig, Germany. I myself am an art historian specialized on contemporary figurative painting, so it seems naturally, to write about a contemporary figurativ painter on Wikipedia. Additionally, I am holding a PHD graduated with Summa cum Laude in exactly the subject of contemporary painting. I absolutely don't understand, why I got blocked and my article on this painter deleted. Please unblock me, thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr. Artaddict (talkcontribs) 22:02, 4 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Your contributions were clearly in violation of WP:PROMO. You will not be unblocked to write about Lisa Chandler. If there's some other subject area for which you'd like to write about and you understand why your contributions were inappropriate, please explain. Yamla (talk) 13:50, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Yamla I will not write about Lisa Chandler again.

Request reason:

I am an art historian specialized in contemporary painting, with studies at the universities of Berlin and Sorbonne Paris, with Masters Degree from FU Berlin and a PhD from the University of Technology Dresden, Institute of Art History. I would be very happy to contribute again to Wikipedia. I acknowledge and deeply regret having made a mistake by publishing my article on Lisa Chandler too quickly. This will not happen again. I have learned from my mistake. Dr. Artaddict (talk) 11:27, 18 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

By request of the blocking admin, with the user's promise not to write about Lisa Chandler, and with the understanding of the policies and guidelines pointed out to this user. Yamla (talk) 10:57, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Despite what the above messages may suggest, we welcome the skills of subject-matter experts. However, there are some fundamental differences writing on Wikipedia than in scholarly settings. These links may be useful for you:

@Drm310: I'm not going to interfere or complain if someone else unblocks him. – Athaenara 13:20, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Athaenara, it would be really nice, if you or @Drm310 could unblock me. Thank you in advance. Kind regards, Dr. Artaddict Dr. Artaddict (talk) 11:54, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Dr. Artaddict: I received your email and also read your message above. Unfortunately, I am not an administrator, so I do not have the power to unblock users. Your existing unblock request is still pending, so it will be reviewed by someone in due course. I have no advice on how to expedite this process. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 22:30, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I received another email from Dr. Artaddict and would be willing to unblock him, as the worst that could happen is that he'd spam again and get blocked again, but for the life of me I can't scramble together the details of how to do it, or I'm unpardonably lazy. Might someone else step forward and do the unblock? Sorry for being an airhead. – Athaenara 23:48, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There's an unblock link on the unblock request, though it probably isn't there any more as I unblocked on your behalf. :) --Yamla (talk) 10:57, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Yamla, thank you for unblocking me! This is great news :) Kind regards Dr. Artaddict (talk) 12:02, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
