Welcome, Dr.Lieberman!

I'm Riley Huntley, and I noticed that you haven't been welcomed yet, so I thought I'd drop you a note. We do have a lot of users, and are currently working on 6,938,119 articles, so things can be a little intimidating... but don't worry! We love to help out, and we'll try our best to make your stay here as comfortable as possible.

You should sign your name on talk pages, discussions and votes by typing ~~~~; our software automatically converts it to your username and the date. Also, if you don't want to jump right into editing articles right now, why not check out the sandbox? Feel free to make test edits there.

I know it's a lot of information, but there are two more things I recommend you take note of while editing Wikipedia - cite references wherever possible, and avoid allowing personal biases interfere with your editing.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian - I definitely do. Although we all make mistakes, please keep in mind what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or problems, leave me a message on my talk page, and I'll try my best to help. Otherwise, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! References on TTP article

This edit must have taken you a lot of time, but it doesn't add a list of references to the article. Currently, it uses the Wikipedia citation system (see WP:CITE), which is cumbersome but can be mastered.

You can still access the code by clicking this link. You might wish to store it somewhere for future use.

If you need practice editing, please use the Wikipedia:Sandbox to test what you are doing. In addition, medical claims should be based upon high-quality medical literature; many websites will not qualify.Novangelis (talk) 18:40, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your feedback

Sorry you found it "too hard". You were apparently trying to add a lot of references..... the notes above may help you to understand the problem.... inline citations from reliable sources are preferred.... see WP:RS, WP:MEDRS and WP:ILC. The below may also help:

There is a "Cite" toolbar at the top of the edit window which allows you to automatically generate the required wiki code.

You click one of the templates, e.g. "book", and fill in the details.

Is there a way I can go back and rename references after they have already been added?

Yes, edit the text and change the name of the reference in each instance it appears. The name will be after the start of the referemce just after '<ref name='. Regards, Ariconte (talk) 21:55, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
