Your contribution to the draft

I am looking forward to seeing your section today. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 17:29, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The embargo paragraphs needs references. There should be sources out there, see [1] or [2]. I will add a few sample works that look promising to the further reading section of your article. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 19:33, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You don't need to pipe links [[Cuba|Cuba]] - just [[Cuba]] is enough. See Wikipedia:Piped link. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 22:47, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
There is still over a week for you to achieve the good article. Unfortunately, I have not seen any activity on your article in the last two weeks (last edit of your group member to the article was on Nov 17; last comment on the talk page, Nov 16). Comments by me and by the GA reviewer have been left unanswered for two weeks. This is indeed problematic. If you address the issues raised (for which you still have time), the article can receive the Good Article status. If you don't address them, I am afraid this will not happen. Your group can certainly meet with me; however my primary advice is "edit". Till that happens, I cannot help you much. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 04:32, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Blanked sections are still visible in the edit mode (so in that mode they can be edited, copied and so on); they cannot be unblanked for public viewing till they are rewritten. I and volunteers from Wikipedia's copyright violation/plagiarism team have informed the editors whose sections were removed that the should rewrite them, either in the article or by editing the temporary subpage; that they have not done so so far is indeed a problem; I'd strongly suggest you try to motivate those group members to do that. Please note that not the entire article was blanked, and that there are comments (at Talk:Food_power#GA_Review and elsewhere on the page) that concern non-blanked sections as well. If you think parts of the article where incorrectly blanked, please point that out on its talk page. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 21:21, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sandbox

[edit]

Hi. I'd like to say for the record that I have not found any problem with copyrighted content in your contributions, and I'm sorry for the frustration it must cause you being unable to work on so much of the article.

I don't know if it will help, but I've created a "sandbox" version for you to work on yourself. I'll explain how to do it, and if it isn't clear (as I know you haven't been on Wikipedia long), please let me know.

I placed the entire contents of the article at User:Dorothy R Smith/sandbox. You can see it in the space's "history", here. Since there are copyright violations in the article, I had to blank it while it is not actively being edited, as we can't violate copyright anywhere on Wikipedia. That's why currently the page says "Blanked between work sessions."

Working on the article will require you to understand a little about article history. (Help:history). Among the tabs at the top of every page is one that says "history". If you press it, you can see a record of every edit made to the article. You can select individual edits by clicking the linked date & time. That allows you to edit from older versions. If you look at the history of the sandbox, [3], it currently has two edits. Clicking on the oldest will bring you the text. You can go into "Edit" just as you would ordinarily to work on the article.

After you've finished working on the article, you should blank the entire contents again, either by doing it yourself or following this link [4] and pressing "edit". Add a character or two, a word, a phrase to the article and save, and you've blanked it between sessions. When you want to work on it more, you go back into the history and edit the most recent version you made before reblanking.

Again, I don't know if this will help, but from your note on the talk page of the article wanted to give you an opportunity to continue working.

If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know. I'm watching your talk page for now, and you are also welcome to come by mine. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:00, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I will give the Sandbox a try. I am still getting used to facebook. I am not necessarily extremely internet and wiki minded yet.

I am very low tech myself. :) If you run into any trouble at all, please just let me know. Truly, I am sorry that you've been caught up in this. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 19:31, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
