Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with...

I created a new article in my sandbox. I want to publish it to Wikipedia.

DominicCapuano (talk) 17:23, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You will still need to add any available news sources such as reviews. See also Help:Referencing_for_beginners#Manual_referencing when you have found these sources. SwisterTwister talk 17:27, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I figured out how to publish the page.

I definitely would like to learn more about what you are looking for in sourcing.

This book series is very old.

I have been using this as a model. https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Alpha_9

Thanks. I think that I have added what you are talking about. Most of what I have is from the book itself, (I am working from a physical copy). What I really was trying to figure out is how do I publish it? Take the article live?

DominicCapuano (talk) 17:36, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I can help you with that but the sourcing would be best first. Also, simply message in this section instead of putting another "help me". SwisterTwister talk 17:46, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Article titles

[edit]

Hi DominicCapuano and thank you for your contributions to WIkipedia. I just wanted to let you know that I've renamed your articles about the Alpha anthology series so that the disambiguation is shorter and inside parentheses (following the article title guidelines). So they are now under the titles Alpha 1 (Robert Silverberg anthology), Alpha 2 (Robert Silverberg anthology) and Alpha 3 (Robert Silverberg anthology). I'm just letting you know in case you want to create articles about the numbers 4 through 8 in the series (Alpha 9 exists already and does not need disambiguation currently). Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 20:18, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the Alpha articles that you have been creating have no references. Please stop creating new articles for these books until you have added references from reliable sources to the existing articles. If you do not, the articles are likely to be nominated for deletion, undoing all of your work. Thanks. – Jonesey95 (talk) 15:54, 10 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You could at least use these links to validate the content of the anthologies. Pichpich (talk) 16:11, 10 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Alpha 8 (Robert Silverberg anthology), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Michael Rogers. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:24, 19 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Alpha 1 (Robert Silverberg anthology)

[edit]

Hello, DominicCapuano,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Alpha 1 (Robert Silverberg anthology) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alpha 1 (Robert Silverberg anthology) .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,
