A tag has been placed on Flatulence Discontinuity, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

I notice that you have removed a previous speedy-deletion tag, please do not remove the tag. If you really believe that this should be an article, then add the {{hangon}} tag, and explain your reasoning on the Talk page. Nachmore (talk) 02:41, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Guys, I give up

[edit]

I understand and identify with Wales' vision for the site but now realize Sanger's micromanagement style still pervades. I only wanted to raise global awareness of a very real phenomenon. Wikipedia would have been the first place where this information would have been posted. Seemed, at the time, appropriate. Have a happy Thanksgiving and God bless.

Proposed deletion of Final Day of Happiness (novel)

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Final Day of Happiness (novel), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.   user:j    (aka justen)   05:56, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:TarajiPHenson.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:TarajiPHenson.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 00:07, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Berlin CTF

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Berlin CTF, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Online game that cannot establish any notability via reliable secondary sources (see [1] and [2]). Article is also written like someone's web page, contrary to WP:NOTWEBHOST as well as nearly like an advertisement, contrary to WP:SPAM. No viable location for merge or redirection.

Thank you for uploading File:Angelia_-_CD-Cover.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. feydey (talk) 00:26, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Template:Image-license-fairuse, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Moreover, please add more verifiable sources, not only 3rd party sources. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. The article The Good Dinosaur has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Future film - and no indication in source that this is the title.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of The Good Dinosaur for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article The Good Dinosaur is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Good Dinosaur until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. McDoobAU93 12:03, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Angelia - Retouched Shades Photo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Angelia - Retouched Shades Photo.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. VernoWhitney (talk) 20:13, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Same person?

[edit]

I noted that your login name is nearly identical to User:Dolphin5588. Please be aware that it we discourage the use of multiple accounts unless you have a good reason to do so (such as editing from different locations) and it is also very, very highly recommended that you outright state that you have multiple accounts and state on the talk page that "this is user:(so and so) and this is the account I use while editing at ____, other accounts I use are (insert account names here)". (WP:MULTIPLE) The reason we recommend this is because otherwise the usage of multiple accounts can be seen as sockpuppetry and a way to avoid detection, something that can lead to you getting blocked from editing and possibly even blocked from creating new accounts in general. Also, if you have a conflict of interest of any type, it is also heavily recommended that you state this up front. You can still edit with a COI, but it is discouraged unless you go through some of the various channels that would ensure that your edits would be overseen by a non-involved editor. I personally recommend WP:AfC for any future article creations, as it'd allow your work to get looked over by a non-COI editor and if the article is found to fail notability guidelines, you would still have the ability to work on the article since it wouldn't be in the mainspace. I'll leave this same message on the other account as well. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 06:16, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Angelia - CD-Cover.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Angelia - CD-Cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:22, 14 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
