Hi,
I removed your paragraph on asthma due to several concerns:
- Lack of reviews and reliance on primary sources to support your claims.
- Advertising a biopharmaceutical company.
- Lack of context.
I feel that this doesn't belong in the article per WP:UNDUE.

- Dear Dogdocdvm,
- my concern is not more citations, it is citations from review articles instead of experiments. Cats aren't the only model for asthma as far as I know. We could perhaps have a small section on animal models; in that case, the correct sources would be a review of animal asthma models in which the feline model is discussed.
- You mention that your edit might "benefit to the scientific community". Please note that Wikipedia is written for a general audience and not for the scientific community.
WikiProject Veterinary medicine
[edit]Hi Dogdocdvm,
Welcome to Wikipedia. You might like to join Wikipedia:WikiProject Veterinary medicine, a small group of vets and other people interested in working on articles related to veterinary medicine. It's a quiet group, but I'm sure they'd be happy to hear from another person. You can say hello on the group's talk page, add your name at WP:VET#Members, or click the 'watch' tab to add it to your watchlist.
Also, there's another WikiProject dedicated to dogs, which you'll find here; I'm sure they'd be happy to hear from another interested person as well. WhatamIdoing (talk) 18:45, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
