Edit Summary Request
[edit]I have noted that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Autobiographical articles
[edit]About the articles David carley and David N. Carley. I'd advise you not to write an article about yourself. If you're really that significant a person, someone else will eventually write an article about you. As of now, the line that you will be known to the public shortly... suggests you aren't notable enough to warrant an encyclopedia article and, in any case, such an article would need to be verified. Sorry. Maybe in the future. In the meantime, I'm going to propose deletion of those two articles. It takes five days, so you have time to contest, but please state a good reason for contesting. Thanks.--Kchase T 05:43, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Please read WP:VANITY and WP:AUTO with regard to creating autobiographical articles. Do not create multiple articles with similar names and identical content. Redirects perform this action at a fraction of the server space. (aeropagitica) (talk) 05:55, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
