Some Quick Tips Don't be afraid to make mistakes - Be Bold! That's how things get done, and there is always someone around to help you out if you need it. Remember to sign your posts on talk pages, like this one. You can click this button on your editing toolbar, or just type in four tildes (~~~~) That way, people know who they're talking to and who to go to if they have a question for you. Take some time to read a few of the help files, especially if you're new to Wikimarkup. Knowing the basics can save a lot of time and frustration down the road. Re: Why was my article deleted?

You're not in trouble for asking - actually, I'd much rather you do that instead of repeatedly recreating the article like most people do, because that WILL get people blocked. It was deleted under Criteria for Speedy Deletion A7, because there was no assertion that it was notable enough to be included in an encyclopedia. Subjects have to establish that they are notable according to at least one of our established guidelines, or the general one that applies to all subjects. This is to prevent people from making articles about their cat, and so forth, mainly, but does apply to other things as you've seen. Since you do have a conflict of interest with this particular company, it may be best for you to simply request an article be created for it; this allows other independent editors to judge the notability of your company and write a more neutral entry.
