Thanks so much for your nice pic! I hope u might consider filling gaps of photos needed for other places in the area, e.g. historic places listed at National Register of Historic Places listings in New London County, Connecticut. Cheers, --Doncram (talk) 23:05, 2 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

McCook Point draft

[edit]

Hi there Dmcoxe. I noticed that you started a draft article at User:Example/draft article on McCook Point. I've moved this to your own userspace, at User:Dmcoxe/McCook Point. Starting an article as a userspace draft is often a good idea, but please do so only as a subpage in your own userspace, with a title like the one I've moved your draft to, and not in any other user's userspace. Your draft article looks like a good start in any case, so thanks for working on it. If you have any questions about this, or anything else, feel free to ask me here and I'll see it and respond. Thanks. Gavia immer (talk) 01:42, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Smith Cove / Keeny Cove

[edit]

Good catch on the cove name - I remember getting confused about that back when I was first plotting the NL&EL route. All the documentation from that era definitely calls it Smith Cove; the topo maps available on Historic Aerials indicate that the name swap was probably in the mid 1930s.
