Week 3: Emojis

[edit]

Some images, such as the large grid/table of emojis through time, can be given in a link, instead of taking up so much space. Towards the end, some of the information regarding operating systems and software could have been shortened, as they do not DIRECTLY pertain to the history/evolution/impact of emojis. Strong categorization of topics, such as history, social and cultural impacts, gives clear organization of how emojis have changed over time.

EDIT:

Emojis are now being considered by many to be its own "language." There have also been discussion amongst legal experts, on whether or not emojis such as the gun and face, could be admissible in court. Furthermore, as emojis continue to develop and grow as a "language" of symbols, there may also be the potential of the formation of emoji "dialects."
