Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Bret Hart, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Fischer.sebastian (talk) 23:27, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Category:World Champion professional wrestlers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article and put a note on the page's discussion page saying why this article should stay. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please use deletion review instead of continuing to recreate the page. Thank you. –– Lid(Talk) 05:13, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Recent categories

[edit]

The recent categories you have created are somewhat unneeded. The World Champion category has been deleted twice before. Please do not recreate it. Instead any Category that would affect multiple articles like Royal Rumble winners or World Champions, take it to WT:PW to see if it is a good idea first.--WillC 07:26, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You appear to be ignoring the advice that has been given regarding the categories that have been removed from Chris Benoit. Please do NOT place them on the page again. Another inclusion may result in an assumption of bad faith. Please review the rules of Wikipedia and take the previous advice given. Thank you. !! Justa Punk !! 21:56, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Category:King of the Ring winners (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at the discussion page. Thank you. Darrenhusted (talk) 12:29, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Categories for deletion

[edit]

Two categories you created, Category:National Basketball Association players with retired numbers and Category:Major League Baseball players with retired numbers, have been nominated for deletion. Please respond at the discussion page. — Twas Now ( talkcontribse-mail ) 22:47, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

[edit]

Please stop adding unreferenced controversial biographical content to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Maia Campbell. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did to Maia Campbell ‎, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Ronz (talk) 16:06, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for 48 hours. The BLP policy is not a joke and it's disturbing that you did not take previous warnings seriously. You may not add someone to the category "courtesans and prostitutes" without at least one reliable source. The fact that you did it twice is simply awful. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Money Train, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit can be found here. Please stop. If you continue to add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Mischa Barton, you may be blocked from editing. Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 23:33, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

August 2010

[edit]

Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Jim Haslett, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. Categories must also be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. Also, please be sure your edits comply with Wikipedia's policies regarding biographies of living persons.--Arxiloxos (talk) 02:39, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

December 2010

[edit]

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Cole Hamels. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. — KV5Talk12:59, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
