Draft:NKtrainlistversion1 tagged for speedy deletion
[edit]Thank you for your efforts in patrolling new pages. I wanted to let you know that I have applied a speedy deletion tag to the article Draft:NKtrainlistversion1, which you proposed for deletion, because I believe it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion. In cases where it applies, speedy deletion is preferable to proposed deletion; in the future, please tag blatantly inappropriate pages for speedy deletion first if they meet the criteria. I have left the {{prod}} tag in place, so that if speedy deletion is rejected, your proposed deletion will remain in place. Thanks! --Tautomers(T C) 07:02, 1 July 2021 (UTC)

The article List of highway rest areas in North Korea has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
fails to meet WP:GNG; majority of footnotes are citations to photos on Flickr or videos on YouTube, which are WP:SPSs
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Imzadi 1979 → 02:16, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
- Disagree. The article is fundamentally similar to other articles about highway rest stops. I agree that a decent amount of the citations are flickr or youtube, but in many places I listed multiple citations: these sources are superfluous and do not represent the core of the article, which is based on actual written pages on the topic. Also, a common sense point: for things like verifying the name of a rest stop or so on, a primary source is NOT about citing a fake expert, it is about showing the fact of the matter about the point of interest and definitely not the commentary.
- If you think the article needs improvement then please do so rather than taking it down at a first glance. Dl2187 (talk) 03:03, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
