I've moved the image 'Rafael Benitez.jpg' to commons so your original image on en.wikipedia may be deleted.

Removal of speedy from Europe Cup
I've removed the speedy from this page as I think this is quite clearly one of the exceptions to the general rule that we don't link to disambiguation pages (as given here). It falls under the "mispelling" category in spirit if nothing else. More detailed explanation is at Talk:Europe Cup. Dpmuk (talk) 11:29, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
warning
Please do not remove links to DaB pages in userspace as you have done on User:Canis Lupus/DaB/Page 7 such actions are disruptive and may lead to a block. Canis Lupus 12:25, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
Michael Mancienne
I don't have a reference, but it goes without saying really. He had that number at QPR, and it is free at Chelsea.Chelseafcthebest (talk) 19:37, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
Can I put him in the Template:Chelsea F.C. Squad under 44, and Miroslav Stoch under 65.Chelseafcthebest (talk) 19:38, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Fm09boxart.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Fm09boxart.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:23, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
Your date change script
Please could you not mark changing the format of dates as a minor edit, as you did on Eddy Brown. Thanks, Struway2 (talk) 09:08, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
- I repeat, please stop marking changing the format of dates as a minor edit, as you did again with this edit to Pál Várhidi. In addition, could you explain why you did change the format in this case? Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates and numbers) says in the second paragraph that the format should not be changed "unless there is a substantial reason to do so", and that "Where in doubt, defer to the style used by the first major contributor". The creator of the article is Hungarian, so I'd have thought he/she would have more knowledge of what was acceptable in a Hungarian person's article than you or I. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 09:29, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think you'll find anything in the MoS which justifies change of format for articles without clear ties to a particular English-speaking country. And that particular article isn't written in AmEng or BritEng, just in quite decent English-as-a-foreign-language. I'd be surprised if the script were really forcing changes to international format (this is Lightmouse's script presumably?), I'm sure it used not to. Maybe just slow down a touch, so such things are less likely to slip through? and keep up the good work on the disambiguation front! cheers, Struway2 (talk) 09:50, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
- Concur. Furthermore, articles specifically on time intervals, such as September 1 or 21st century, 'should have the date links, per Wikipedia:WikiProject Time subproject guideines. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 07:17, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
DAB World Cup
I see you're working on DABing the World Cup links. I just started working on these as well....What say I start at the end and you go from the beginning so we don't interfere with each other? --MikeVitale 12:26, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
