Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. OhNoitsJamie Talk 22:25, 27 July 2011 (UTC) I am not sure how you can classify this as spam or website promotion? equities.com offers financial information and definitions of terms for investors. Our site is strictly a source for information and therefore benefits readers of the specific terms I have offered external links to. If you click on the links provided it will take you to an information page relevant to that term, free from advertising. Please advise how you have come to base your conclusions. Thank You. - We don't allow canvassing of links to Wikipedia articles, especially when their is an obvious (or in this case self-admitted) conflict of interest. OhNoitsJamie Talk 23:01, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
How is this canvassing links? I thought the purpose of external links is to provide supportive references and content relevant for the user?
- See also our policy on single purpose accounts. There's nothing further to discuss if you don't understand the simple policies I've already related to you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 23:28, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for sharing this: "Existing editors should act fairly, civilly, not bite newcomers, and remember everyone was new at some time. Care is needed if addressing SPAs on their edits." Again, I was not promoting any site or content. I have made a dispute on your claims with administrators on your abuse.
