  • Some thoughts. Firstly, don't link to external sources like you did with veteran. If you must, link to the internal WP article. Same for the ship names, don't link to a photo. To make the article look good, consider putting the ship names in a table. Gbawden (talk) 07:43, 26 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for your input and that table (i wanted to do that but could not figure it out) it looks great, so far i think i have read and edited it a thousand times adding links and citations as i notice where one may be needed also adding more information as i progress,i have to do it that way because of my dyslexia or it becomes too overwhelming

i keep trying to link to the wiki article but i cant get it to work (its me i will figure it out ) thanks again Gbawden Dixon hill (talk) 08:00, 26 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ps The pictures that where linked to the loyal class tenders entry, are actually the on the marine traffic database for the vessels and gives current information as to there whereabouts if known IMO number,MMSI number call Sign:Flag AIS Vessel Type: ect are you sure i cant link to them ?? Mediation

[edit]

Thank you for your inquiry about mediating the deletion of Commons:File:R.N.X.S LapelBadge.jpg, but I'm afraid that Commons is separate from English Wikipedia and has its own standards and processes. Moreover, I do not work in dispute resolution there, nor am I familiar with its appeal processes. So, sorry, but I can't be much help. (And even if I could, I don't ordinarily accept private requests for mediation.) Regards, TransporterMan (TALK) 20:36, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

ok Thank you anyway ,very new to this still trying to get a handle on it --Dixon hill (talk) 21:11, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

what ????? i have cited the publication the artacal appeared in year and month as advised to do when i asked on the editor irc channel and used an extract of that ; lengthy piece that is over 50 years old , as to punctuation "" , ect, i am 55 years old not a collage kid and i am dislexic and have to read thought it dozens of time to correct such errors

All in all this has been a pretty disappointing experience, i see no point in continuing trying to help update wiki as requested in there mission statement.when it come to historical entry's as this is, the over the top approach to Alleged CR infringement it detrimental to wiki`s mission statement .i used an"extract from what is a lengthy piece in the navy news cited dated and that not good enough --Dixon hill (talk) 19:56, 28 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
