Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of Percy Jackson & the Olympians cast members may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s and 2 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks for uploading File:XCOM Enemy Unknown - Sectoid.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 17:09, 9 February 2014 (UTC)

A homage

Ditto51, in regards to this edit, you changed "an homage" to "a homage". Actually, both usages are correct and, in fact, the former is more common on Wikipedia. It all depends on how you pronounce "homage". Some people pronounce the "h", some don't (the French pronunciation). I'm not going to revert your edit, but, for future reference, an before homage is acceptable. — Frεcklεfσσt | Talk 14:56, 27 March 2014 (UTC)

Ah, okay didn't know that--Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 16:00, 27 March 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Vampire Diaries, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Joseph Morgan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The X Factor

Per this discussion, how they are currently listed is how they should be. Your reasoning of "so it makes sense" is not going along with Wikipedia policy of consensus. livelikemusic my talk page! 15:40, 11 April 2014 (UTC)

That discussion makes no mention of returning judges, only judges who were in the initial show--Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 15:42, 11 April 2014 (UTC)
The discussion is for judges period. It was agreed it should be on first appearance, and then any further returns will be mentioned as such. They are listed in first appearance order only. Simon and Cheryl's return can be tacked on at the end, as it currently is. And continuing to revert the correct edit will be seen as vandalism and in violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit-warring. livelikemusic my talk page! 15:45, 11 April 2014 (UTC)

Template:Pokémon

I don't agree with your logic for reverting my edits to Template:Pokémon. The template being all about Pokémon doesn't justify using different formatting than we use everywhere else. They're formatted that way to indicate what is a title and what is not, with the same logic as to why, for instance, "Spinoff titles" and the names of character are not italicized. It's not worth me edit warring over because I think it's minor either way, but I don't understand your rationale based on your edit comment. —Ost (talk) 22:16, 14 April 2014 (UTC)

What about the movies, episodes and side games? Almost everything on that table should have Pokémon before it by your logic and that would just add in way too many uses of the term Pokémon--Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 09:44, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
Sorry for not looking more closely; I had recently merged substitution regexes and did not notice that it was adding Pokémon everywhere on this result. I'll be fixing that. I completely agree that it should not be included after the pipe; I just want the formatting like we use elsewhere. Thanks for fixing and explaining why. —Ost (talk) 13:06, 15 April 2014 (UTC)

Monitoring

I mean this in the nicest way possible. Why are you always monitoring the Once Upon a Time pages 24/7? Honestly. You act like some kind of overlord died and made you boss. You are constantly adding and deleting things, posting on people's chat pages, "user talk" in the edit summary, constantly telling people what they can and can not do. Seriously. STOP. You are not the creator or boss of this website, or manager of the OUAT pages. So if you see something you don't like, don't look at it, don't change it, just suck it up and leave the page. Because if you don't, I will report you to Wikipedia managers and have them do SOMETHING about it. BTW, don't even think about deleting this post, or I will repost it. JUST LIKE you did to me. Bye Bye Now!

Why do you feel the need that it is YOUR responsibility to be checking pages like that and to be deleting "unneeded" or "unsourced" things? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mmddyy28 (talkcontribs) 20:56, 11 May 2014 (UTC)

Ways to improve The Originals (season 2)

Hi, I'm Mabalu. Ditto51, thanks for creating The Originals (season 2)!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Thanks for creating this article! However, Facebook and Twitter are not really reliable sources so ideally you need better sources for the page.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Mabalu (talk) 01:24, 13 May 2014 (UTC)

The Originals categories

I got the categories from The Originals (TV series). Mabalu (talk) 22:27, 13 May 2014 (UTC)

Really? None of the categories actually appeared on the main page. that is why I was confused--Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 06:07, 14 May 2014 (UTC)
Well, I wasn't sure how to categorise it so I looked up the other page about it, and assumed most of categories on that page would fit as it was about the show overall. Mabalu (talk) 09:01, 14 May 2014 (UTC)

@Ditto51, I was thinking about nominating you because you seem to know a lot about Wikipedia, its rules, and how it works. I wasn't adding it to be annoying, I was doing it to get a response, and hopefully have you accept it. Do you accept or decline? You could probably get (a few) tons of other editors to vote for you. No offence, but you could give us the source to put on there and Bulbapedia and Serebii are both fan sites and Bulbapedia is like Wikipedia and we can't source other articles here so why would we be allowed to source another publicly open site whose content can be altered by everyone. So please find a source or if it is on Bulbanews then take it from the place they source it from, otherwise stop re-adding it.--Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 20:27, 26 May 2014 (UTC)

Speedy Deletion Nomination of The Vampire Diaries (season 6)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on The Vampire Diaries (season 6) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. -- Mmddyy28 (Contact Me Here) 18:47, 31 May 2014 (UTC)

your TWA subpages

Hey, may I ask what those pages are for? They all have Category:Articles for deletion, which is usually reserved for article-space pages going through the WP:Articles for deletion process (hence the name). Thanks, Ansh666 02:11, 1 June 2014 (UTC)

They were created by The Wikipedia Adventure as part of a program to help people to understand how to use wikipedia better, as I have completed it I no longer have a need for the pages so I wanted them to be deleted so that they are no longer taking up place on Wikipedia.
Is there a specific category for Userspace areas to be out in for deletion?
--Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 09:22, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
The proper tag for that would be WP:CSD#U1; you can place either {{Db-u1}} or {{Db-userreq}} at the top of the pages to request deletion. I'll go ahead and do these for you this time. Cheers, Ansh666 12:53, 1 June 2014 (UTC)

Multiple things:
  1. It has been labeled a stub
  2. I didn't remove the tag
  3. The notice says that anyone can remove it with the exception of the person who created the page, and I repeat, I did not remove the tag.
  4. It is a stub, there are thousands if not millions of pages with less (and unsourced) information on them than this one sourced page.
Also please look at edit history, I put on the stub tag and then left the page alone, other users removed the notice and moved the Stub tag to the bottom of the page.
Also please come up with a better reason for putting it up for deletion as it does not meet the criteria of A3--Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 21:22, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
Also two users who aren't me (TWO!!) have removed the tag now so if you want the page deleted then look through the creteria and find on that might actually carry some weight against the page--Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 21:47, 1 June 2014 (UTC)

Userpages

Please don't store your own fiction (e.g., all those Thomas Cane pages) on Wikipedia. I'd be within my rights to delete all of them, but I'm going to let you save them locally, and then request that they be deleted; to do that, you add {{db-u1}} to each of them. You can download a free copy of our MediaWiki software and run it on your own machine, if you like ("ThomasPedia", perhaps?).

Good luck. DS (talk) 13:37, 26 June 2014 (UTC)

Ah, okay. There are people who've tried to use Wikipedia to store dozens of interlocking pseudo-articles about fictional episodes of non-existent TV shows that starred made-up actors with imaginary music careers (which is the sort of thing we delete when we find it); if that wasn't your goal, then I apologize for having thought otherwise. Yes but it is not necessary to add it to that page. Just because someone invented the wheel doesn't mean we credit them on every page mentioning the wheel do we?--Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 18:13, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

frank lloyd wright who didnt invent any technology used in the burj, his name appears in the page. so there is nothing wrong if khan's name too is mentioned. "Just because someone invented the wheel doesn't mean we credit them on every page mentioning the wheel do we?" no but the bundled tube structure is directly used in the burj khalifa and other super tall skyscrapers. it is not irrelevant. --180.149.8.163 (talk) 18:19, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

you see the article reads: The Burj Khalifa uses the bundled tube design.[36][37] Proportionally, the design uses half the amount of steel used in the construction of the Empire State Building thanks to the tubular system.[36][38] the burj khalifa was possible because of the bundled tube design. so he should be respected. well? --180.149.8.163 (talk) 18:25, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

The Finnish Civil War

Tell me, if the addition of it being part of the Russian civil war wasn't constructive, why is it included as one of the Western Theaters of the Russian Civil War's Camping Box which also appears on the page itself? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.155.59.10 (talk) 18:34, 30 June 2014 (UTC) 190.155.59.10, just because something involved a country and happened at the same time as said country's civil war does not mean that it was part of that civil war. The Finnish Civil War was a civil war between the Finnish who wanted their freedom and those who supported Russian occupation. Germany and Russia fought for the side they supported but at no point did the Russians fight themselves in the country under the name of this war that could mix this with the Russian Civil War.--Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 18:47, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

Representation of the People Act 1918

I'm sorry, but I don't understand. (I'm a relative newbie, so maybe I've totally got Wiki policy mixed up.) If there is no source citation, but the information IS right, then why does it get deleted? For example, let's say John Doe is a curious fellow and wants to know when blacks got the right to vote in the UK. He comes to Wikipedia, sees that they got it in 1918, and leaves. The information is correct, Mr. Doe's thirst for knowledge is quenched, so does he really care about a source citation? Now, if a Harvard student were doing a project on the same topic, then I might understand. — Preceding unsigned comment added by O Great Britannia (talkcontribs) 18:44, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

O Great Britannia, You answered your own question. Whereas John Doe from some random village may be happy with just seeing it on wikipedia, John Doe from Harvard will require a source better than "I saw it on Wikipedia" for any essay. As such it needs to be source. Otherwise what they could be reading could be complete and utter rubbish. Otherwise any editor on wikipedia could put on any random information and claim it to be true and so not need a source. This Policy states the need for sources as well as the objection to Original research.--Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 18:51, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

Sorry, the some of the mistypes as well as no sources to back up what you said made your edit appear as vandalism, but the additions of sources and the correct spelling and grammar have shown me that you had acted in good faith with the source in your head, you just didn't insert it to the page. Hello, I want to inform you that you have not uptodate information about the Indo Pak region, and Muhammad Ali Jinnah was not born in Karachi, Sindh Govt Authorities have the proper record, as he was born in town of Jherk Thatta, you write him as non sindhi, according to international law who ever is born in some other region, other than its ancestral region is not recognized as alien to the region. another personality whos name is Ubedullah Sindhi you have also shown him as non sindhi where as his names part is sindhi itself how come you type him as non sindhi, same way Only Udu speaking people are 12% of the province , if added with begalis muhajirs, beharis muhajirs, indian Punjabis muhajirs they collectively make up 20% of Sindhs Population but only pure urdu speaking mohajirs are 12%.Please do make corrections to the records. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kashi201313 (talkcontribs) 18:38, 11 July 2014 (UTC)

Now, what are you trying to say, all I can see is a chunk of text with a few percentages added in.--Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 18:53, 11 July 2014 (UTC)
