MECH 2960 Instructor Review
[edit]I apologize that it took until now to provide a review. Overall your article is ready to go onto wikipedia. But before doing so, you may wish to make the edits below to improve its clarity:
- I'm unclear what the "(17.5 teslas or 175,000 gauss)" is trying to tell the reader. Do you mean that it can generate magnetic fields of that magnitude? Or that superconducting magnets need to hit that threshold value? Please re-word to clarify.
- The sentence "The most commonly used of these three superconducting alloys is Nb3Ti." isn't needed in this article; I would consider deleting.
- For the sentence starting "The main property of V3Ga ...", I would make sure that's part of the previous paragraph, instead of a new line.
- Your citations are really good quality. However, for citation #2, your link to knovel may not be helpful to those who are not at a university with a subscription. That comes from a book, and it'd be more helpful to list the book title so others can find it from a library, even if they don't have a digital Knovel subscription.
I look forward to seeing how well it does on live wikipedia! UML MECH2960 (talk) 17:18, 15 December 2018 (UTC)
