[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Discorder.com, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. noq (talk) 13:22, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Acroterion (talk) 13:36, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
- Inserting screenshots of your website crosses the boundary into advertising. It's not in compliance with free content copyright, and is obviously inappropriate for an encyclopedia. However, I deleted the article on the basis of no assertion of notability: see WP:CORP for guidelines of notability for companies. Acroterion (talk) 13:39, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
This is your last warning. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Displeased Records, you will be blocked from editing without further notice.
Your edits have been automatically marked as vandalism and have been automatically reverted. The following is the log entry regarding this vandalism: Displeased Records was changed by Displeasedron (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.911895 on 2011-03-02T13:59:12+00:00 . Thank you. Ok, fine. I will not edit any page anymore and you deleted what you find offensive.
- The edit that was removed was done by a bot - an automated program. Accusing others of a conflict of interest when you have a very obvious conflict of interest yourself is not a good policy. The article on the website was deleted by three different administrators. This case is a good example of why you should not edit on subjects with which you are closely involved - it's hard to place enough distance between yourself and your subject to be objective. We are happy to help, but Wikipedia policies are there for good reason - you're discouraged from editing on matters concerning your own business (as is everybody else here), and all articles must pass the notability test so the encyclopedia doesn't become clogged with spam or articles on ephemeral or inconsequential subjects. Please feel free to participate in the deletion deb guidelines, specifically WP:NOTE and WP:CORP.Acroterion (talk) 14:34, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:30, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
