[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Sainoj has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZmIR59Ihlo/, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igTSujMLu5k/ (matching the regex rule \byoutube\.com). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 08:56, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
The article Sainoj has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- not an article - just a collection of links
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 18:12, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Sainoj
[edit]You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
A tag has been placed on Sainoj requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. B.Wind (talk) 23:38, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Do not add Copyright violation images and song links to Sainoj article. Adding such links and images is against wikipedia policy and will get you banned.--Sodabottle (talk) 07:19, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
- Also i am cleaning up the article and copy editing to fit WP:MOS and you are reverting it back to your original messy version. I am trying to keep the article and save it from deletion. Your text and photo was lifted from this page. Wikipedia does not take a light view of copyright (image and text) violations. Your actions will get this deleted. so please stop. If you want to add a song list, add a new section called "Discography" and add the songs as a bulleted list. Again, let me point out - your actions against wikipedia policies will get the article deleted, which i guess you dont want to happen--Sodabottle (talk) 07:21, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks to Sodabottle's work, the article has been transformed from a memorial of external links (a "linkfarm") into a rather nice stub that can be appropriatlely expanded (see WP:MOS for further information here). Because of the transformation, I have just withdrawn the nomination for deletion. If this were a fansite, a page full of links could have been appropriate, but there is a difference between an encyclopedia entry and a tribute page. I think Sotabottle's suggestion of a "discography" section (also noting peak chart positions on reliable music charts - see WP:BADCHART to see which to avoid) is an excellent one. - Also... when was he born and what was his birth name? These would also help the article (don't forget to cite the reliable source when you insert the information). B.Wind (talk) 16:36, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

photo of Sainoj
[edit]Dipu,
For adding a photo of Sainoj:
a) Make sure it is a photo taken by you or someone in the family. Not a publicity still shot by a third party photographer. A photo's copyright is owned by the person who actually took the photo. Even if we had employed a photographer to take photos and bought them from him, it means we have the right to use them for our use and not other commercial uses. (I know, copyright law is sometimes very tough) b) Once you have a photo whose copyright is established (that is, you or someone in the family took the photo), upload that photo, clearly mentioning the name of the photographer and his permission to give the photo to depict sainoj. If it is you who are the photographer it is easy to give permission. If someone else (like a relative) took the photo - establish a email id for them and have a mail sent to you as uploader giving explicit permission to you to use as fit. (it has to be produced if someone from wikipedia licensing side follows up and questions the permission). Remember the email confirmation from the photographer is the key. c) once uploaded, let me know. i will reedit the language to make it more compliant to wikipedia rules and ensure the photo doesnt get deleted. d) Finally, add photo to infobox in article(first adding infobox). This too i will do once the upload is done.
And finally, my condolences for your family's loss. --Sodabottle (talk) 04:10, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
PS: Wikipedia has such stringent copyright measures because America (where wikipedia is based and incorporated) has strict copyright regulation. And we have to abide by it for legal reasons.
- I have moved the photo to an infobox (as is the normal practice in wikipedia) and modified the description of the image. This should work. Let me know if someone tries to delete it and i will handle the issues.--Sodabottle (talk) 16:28, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot Sodabottle. Thank you for spending your valid time for my article.-- Dipu.
