Stubs
[edit]Thank you for creating stub entries. If possible, please use a specific stub rather than just {{stub}}. To help, a list can be found at WP:WSS/ST. If you can find one that fits still use {{stub}} and someone else will categorise it for you. Thank you. Ksbrowntalk 20:04, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Hi Digi, please only use the {{dts}} template for dates in sorted tables. Instead, you can use the formatted date that is built in to Mediawiki. Thanks! —Wikibarista 17:45, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
cocoto carniival/carnival
[edit]this entry on List of Wii games has been red linked since I caught a spelling error. Your Cocoto Carniival page also has the error, or is the game actually spelled with 2 I's? Stranger game names do exist, I suppose. Just letting you know, I don't want to step on your toes since you created the article. thanks and peace out. Tehw1k1 01:45, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
I agree with your sentiment there. Just H 01:18, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

nothing to add
[edit]As far as structure or whatever goes, I like the present Wii list fine. I dont have any concrete suggestions for improvement at the moment, but I'll be watching the discussion with interest. Thanks, though. Tehw1k1 06:57, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
Article naming conventions
[edit]Please note that Ferrari Challenge has had to be moved to Ferrari Challenge (game) and a disambiguation page created in its place. I have taken the opportunity to fix existing links for you. Where an article's name is identical to that of another, more notable subject, a differentiator should be used. See Naming conventions for advice. Regards, Adrian M. H. 13:17, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
Advice
[edit]I've noticed you've created several Wii video game articles: but they don't have sources/references. Articles need those, or they could easily be deleted (or speedy deleted). I've added unsourced tags to them, in the hope sources can be found. RobJ1981 04:33, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, my bad. I'm currently working on three separate lists, so I was hoping that I could create the stub and somebody else could expand for me. All the sources for those articles are actually contained in the List of Wii games. Digiwrld1 04:36, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Comparison of Wii Games Voting
[edit]Nice job noticing that for the vote. I removed the vote (should I have?) since a) it seems clear it was created just to vote for that and b) I don't believe it changes the outcome anyway. Zomic_13 02:51, 11 April 2007 (UTC) ps. What do you think about switching the lists?

Image copyright problem with Image:DDRWii.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:DDRWii.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. OsamaK 19:30, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image (Image:DDRWii.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:DDRWii.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 01:06, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Deal-PC.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Deal-PC.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:07, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

Redirect of Comparison of Wii Titles
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Comparison of Wii Titles, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Comparison of Wii Titles is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Comparison of Wii Titles, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. CSDWarnBot 08:01, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Shoot Out, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Crusio (talk) 10:10, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Your sandbox subpages violate the following from Wikipedia:User page#Copies of other pages: Private copies of pages that are being used solely for long-term archival purposes may be subject to deletion. AfD nomination of Leaderboard Golf
[edit]I have nominated Leaderboard Golf, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Leaderboard Golf. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Fair use rationale for Image:Wii-Earache.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Wii-Earache.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Project FMF (talk) 04:25, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
