Walter Mignolo
[edit]I'm willing to discuss the Kimberley Curtis issue, because that's just a WP:NPOV problem; I've started a discussion on that article's talk page. But the information you re-added to Walter Mignolo violates WP:BLP, and that means it must remain out until you get consensus to add it. If you look to Talk:Walter Mignolo, you'll see that the issue has already been discussed and consensus was formed to not include that info. Mignolo's involvement in that event is trivial; simply being one of 88 people to sign something is not notable enough to include in the article, and putting it there is essentially trying to tarnish him by association. Curtis had much more involvement in the scandal, since she was sued directly, which is why I left that part in her article. But Mignolo did not do anything other than sign. YOu are, of course, welcome to start a discussion on that article's talk page to try to change the existing consensus. But re-adding before that consensus is reaching is not allowed, since WP:BLP is in play. Qwyrxian (talk) 11:46, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
- I did take a look at that and I cannot find where the consensus to not add the information is in either of the two sections. It sure looks like the "consensus" was that there were IP addresses coming through, leaving you wanting a block. It wasn't about the information, but about how they added it. Being a signatory on the open letter (and subsequently the clarification letter) is absolutely significant and worth inclusion. As I added it, the content didn't even take up it's own section. I will start a new thread on that page after I bring it back because you are obviously trying to "synthesize" the consensus. I will also respond on the Kimberly Curtis page and hopefully we can reach a consensus. Best Regards, DietFoodstamp (talk) 19:05, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry, my mistake about the history on Mignolo. But the discussion is open now, so we can continue it there. If necessary, we can use dispute resolution. Qwyrxian (talk) 03:25, 10 May 2012 (UTC)
CSD A7 on Jangoo Chapkhana
[edit]Hi, I wanted to let you know that I have challenged your WP:CSD A7 on Jangoo Chapkhana. In my opinion, the claim regarding credits for critically acclaimed performances is a sufficient claim of importance to meet the very low threshold of criteria A7. While the subject may or may not be notable, notability is a much higher standard and should be considered at either AfD or with a PROD. Monty845 17:08, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
- Ok--that works, but just saying something is 'critically-acclaimed' without actually referencing or sourcing such claims does not alleviate the burden. User:Bgwhite looks to have already put it up for PROD so I will leave it at that. DietFoodstamp (talk) 01:18, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
Let's join hands?
[edit]Hi. I was wondering if you could join hands with me in expanding the article Tuberculosis in India, started by me. I see that you take keen interest in developing knowledge and gathering information. As far as the article is concerned, that has just come into babe and it would be nice to have your collaboration and assistance in copy editing, gathering context and sources for the same. Let me know your views. By the way, I tend to be a good friend/ :-) VIVEK RAI : Friend? 10:04, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
- Hey there--no problem, I'm always looking to learn new stuff and like to edit articles I'm not too familiar with so I can add some knowledge. I'll be dropping in and attempting to add bits to the article here and there, but I don't have the time/research done to write up the whole framework. I'll be very glad to help you out, though. Take care DietFoodstamp (talk) 10:07, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
- That's all that I need. I'll work for the framework and all and I know the importance of our time as we both are students. Thanks again! By the way, Is there any means I can contact you besides Talk Page here. VIVEK RAI : Friend? 10:34, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion converted to PROD: Metroxical New York
[edit]Hello DietFoodstamp. I am just letting you know that I have converted the speedy deletion tag that you placed on Metroxical New York to a proposed deletion tag, because I do not believe CSD applies to the page in question - WP:CSD#A7 does not apply to films. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 10:30, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

Hello, I've moved Ranked list of countries to my user space (User:Pristino/Ranked list of countries) and removed the speedy deletion notice. The Ranked list of countries redirect should now be speedy deleted. Cheers. Pristino (talk) 23:49, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
