Please remove the page from Category:Districts of $1 Province (and delete the category) by wrapping the code in commented-out nowiki tags.  ― Qwerfjkltalk 13:52, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Dicklyon: This page is in Category:Pages using duplicate arguments in template calls. Unfortunately, the standard "put <nowiki>...</nowiki> in the comments" trick doesn't work with json files, because there aren't comments in json (as you discovered after the last time this was tried). So, I can think of two solutions (1) change the content model of the page to something that isn't parsed by the backend software, or (2) use the comment data element trick to add <nowiki>...</nowiki> to the top and bottom of the json file. Or, do you have another idea? Thanks! Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 01:33, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I blanked it. Hope that does the job. Dicklyon (talk) 19:56, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Dicklyon, your page is still transcluding Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Subst\\:lc\\:Final. Is there any way you could fix this? Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 17:51, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Plastikspork: I blanked it again. What do others do about this problem? Surely there must be other JWB setups working on templates and such. I wouldn't think going in and editing the json file would be a thing. Dicklyon (talk) 22:45, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
So far, your page has been the only one that has created entries in the database report. One possibility would be to break up the double braces in the regexp by using say { *{ instead of {{ which would still match. Or, maybe use backslashes with the braces, but I don't use JWB so I can't confirm. A third possibility would be to change the content model for the page to "plain text" instead of "json", which would keep WP from parsing it as wikitext. Thanks! @Plastikspork: I just stored a new version, with a bunch of old stuff deleted. No {{ in the patterns, I think. Let me know if it's OK now. Dicklyon (talk) 11:54, 3 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that works! Thanks! Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 14:58, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
