Hey, thank you very, very much for finding that pic of Peggy!

The Barnstar of Diligence
For finding, in some extraordinary, mysterious way, free-use footage from the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere that was an irreplicable source to illustrate the article! BarntToust (talk) 01:10, 31 July 2024 (UTC)

You found a video that was Commons-friendly to screencap an image of Peggy, and it ended up being a gateway drug into a treasure trove of amazing footage that I screencapped to illustrate the article in a way that was otherwise lost to the past. And Peggy, the beginning of it all, sorely needed her own little image, the cute pupper! Thank you for opening a door to improve that article in a unique way. BarntToust (talk) 01:10, 31 July 2024 (UTC)

Thanks so much! I was actually looking for a good image of her for quite a while! Di (they-them) (talk) 02:01, 31 July 2024 (UTC)

@Canadienne Comedienne: Only if there are secondary sources that discuss them. We should not add any info to the article that isn't covered by secondary sources. Di (they-them) (talk) 14:34, 4 August 2024 (UTC)

Autopatrolled granted

Hi Di (they-them), I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.

Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.

Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Elli (talk | contribs) 19:52, 25 August 2024 (UTC)

ENC Wiknic 2024

I am organizing the Wiknic at ECU this year. The school has told me to expect about 100 people to stop by with questions. Given you have experience editing Wikipedia, do you have any interest in helping answer questions during this event? You can reply here, find me at the event, or use the clues in my Wikipedia profile to find my email address relatively easily. I know people tend to remain anonymous here, so reply however you like. Frankcjones (talk) 21:24, 22 August 2024 (UTC)

@Frankcjones: I would be happy to help! Di (they-them) (talk) 21:25, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
@Di (they-them) Can you email me so we can meet before or at the Wiknic? Fjones18 @ gmail Frankcjones (talk) 15:02, 28 August 2024 (UTC)
Sure thing, email has been sent. Di (they-them) (talk) 17:40, 28 August 2024 (UTC)

Category:Domesticated foxes has been nominated for deletion

Category:Domesticated foxes has been nominated for deletion. A discussion is taking place to decide whether it complies with the categorization guidelines. If you would like to participate in the discussion, you are invited to add your comments at the category's entry on the categories for discussion page. Thank you. ― Blaze WolfTalkblaze__wolf 00:16, 28 August 2024 (UTC)

There's a chance this is a good category. However I struggled to find any policies on categories that told me what is and isn't a good category. ― Blaze WolfTalkblaze__wolf 00:20, 28 August 2024 (UTC)

Hello, Di (they-them),

Why on earth did you nominate this article for a deletion discussion when you are arguing to Keep it? AFDs are to consider deletion for an article, you shouldn't nominate an article to settle an editing dispute or to find new sources or for any content-related reasons. It's a waste of editor time and right now this AFD looks like a trainwreck that I know that I don't want to sort through.

You should also not nominate an article for a deletion discussion on behalf of another editor unless the editor is an IP account that can't do this themself. I don't know what you were trying to accomplish through this nomination but in the future please only nominate articles that you are arguing should be deleted. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 05:05, 30 August 2024 (UTC)

I see now that you nominated this article based on discussion at Talk:Frutiger Aero. I still think it would have been better if the editor seeking deletion had asked for help rather than you stepping in and nominating it for them when you actually want the article Kept. It makes the AFD discussion confusing for any editors stumbling into it who want to participate. Liz Read! Talk! 05:29, 30 August 2024 (UTC)
Hi @Liz:, I wasn't the one that nominated the page. Another user put the AFD tag on the page but didn't properly follow !through with creating the discussion, so I created the discussion on their behalf. Sorry for the confusion! Di (they-them) (talk) 17:28, 30 August 2024 (UTC)
