Welcome!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "LRQA-UK", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually (not your role), such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".
Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. –Skywatcher68 (talk) 12:07, 17 June 2022 (UTC)

[edit]You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.
Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".
If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page.
You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text
{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

[edit]Hello, I'm I dream of horses. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to LRQA have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. I dream of horses (Hoofprints) (Neigh at me) 13:29, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hi there, thanks for the feedback. As Lloyds Register & LRQA are indeed two separate companies, would content stating this as well as a citation (from major news sources) be enough? Right now LRQA searches are redirected to Lloyds Register which isn't correct hence the attempt to create a standalone LRQA article. Dhwani at LRQA (talk) 14:49, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
- The easiest way to get an article published on Wikipedia is to find three sources that prove LRQA has been noted, write an article from those three sources, and submit it through articles for creation. If you can't find at least three qualifying sources, LRQA most likely isn't notable according to Wikipedia, and might actually be better off without an article. - Ok thank you, LRQA was bought by Goldman Sachs so I'm confident there will have been significant coverage. Thanks for the advice regarding the sources, we'll be sure to revisit it with a neutral tone and deliver on the citations. Have a great day! :) Dhwani at LRQA (talk) 15:51, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
- I know you are sincere in being certain that's enough coverage. I just want to emphasize the existence of articles for creation again. I dream of horses (Hoofprints) (Neigh at me) 16:58, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
