From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate your contributions to the Seven canyons article, but we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. Perhaps you would like to rewrite the article in your own words. For more information, take a look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Happy editing!--Fuhghettaboutit 13:42, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd ask you to also read my comment. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, which means it records material that has already been reported in reliable sources. This means that if, for example, the New York Times had run an article on Search Toppers, we could write an article about your company based on the Times article. However it appears that there hasn't been independent coverage of Search Toppers yet. Whne there has, please write an article about them. Until then, we cannot cover the company. Please read Wikipedia's guideline on notability and our policy on verifiability. Thanks, Gwernol 01:13, 26 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Estancia golf club

[edit]

An editor has nominated Estancia golf club, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Estancia golf club and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 14:59, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Desert mountain

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Desert mountain, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. —G716 <T·C> 01:20, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
