Information icon Hello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Bridgit Mendler, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 17:40, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to I Have Questions, without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Bball_123 (talk) 18:24, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Sofia Carson (album) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't meet WP:NALBUMS - trivial, mostly primary source coverage, hasn't charted on any county's national chart

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Geraldo Perez (talk) 21:47, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Sofia Carson (album)

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Sofia Carson (album). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Sofia Carson (album) 2022. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Sofia Carson (album) 2022. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Geraldo Perez (talk) 21:50, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

April 2022

[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Sofia Carson (album). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Geraldo Perez (talk) 21:53, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why are you going to delete Sofia Carson's album page? Dhiego Allvez (talk) 21:58, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Because it doesn't meet WP:NALBUMS as stated in the proposed deletion tag. Geraldo Perez (talk) 22:00, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
But the information is correct! Whats wrong? I don't understand! Dhiego Allvez (talk) 22:02, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It is missing what national charts it was listed on. Geraldo Perez (talk) 23:04, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
But just why have to delete the whole page? I don't see any logic, honestly! Dhiego Allvez (talk) 23:23, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The logic is in WP:NALBUMS which talks to whether or not a subject is notable enough to have an article about it. This subject doesn't so should be deleted. Geraldo Perez (talk) 00:24, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Camila Cabello discography, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Do not remove sources and leave information unsourced. Ss112 22:43, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Sofia Carson (debut album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sofia Carson (album). When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. "Stylized" notes

[edit]

Please get out of the habit of introducing trivial stylization notes like this to articles. Readers can tell the difference between emails i can't send and Emails I Can't Send. Stylization notes are trivial per MOS:CAPS, as they're not replicated elsewhere on Wikipedia, and the purely aesthetic stylisations singers "intend" for their works are never replicated in every piece of media that covers them, so it's meaningless. This became a trend to add to the lead of every pop music article and it never should have. It's time the music community on Wikipedia got over it. Ss112 07:46, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your rearrangement of order of singles

[edit]

Dhiego, you probably are not aware, but there is one IP editor in particular who has been editing here since at least 2017 who, anytime a popular singer releases two singles on one day, will edit war to order those singles alphabetically, so this edit may be for naught (as obviously numbers come before letters in alphabetical order). That is why I preemptively changed the order of the singles so that "16 Carriages" was first. Ss112 05:42, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion for Archiving Your Talk Page

[edit]

Hello Dhiego Allvez,

I hope this message finds you well. I've noticed that your Talk page has grown quite extensive, with over 3100 lines, which is more than the lines of code used to send Apollo 11 to the moon! This is a testament to your active engagement on Wikipedia. However, I'd like to suggest considering archiving some of the older discussions, especially those dating back to 2020 or earlier.

Archiving can lead to several benefits, including:

  • Better Organization: It makes it easier for you and others to navigate through current discussions without scrolling through a long history of past conversations.
  • More Conducive Conversations: With a cleaner Talk page, it becomes simpler for other editors to engage in ongoing discussions and for you to manage responses.
  • Improved User Experience: For users on older computers or slower networks, a shorter page can significantly enhance loading times and overall accessibility.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Branding in Seongsu, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. 98𝚃𝙸𝙶𝙴𝚁𝙸𝚄𝚂 08:35, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Shawn Mendes, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. livelikemusic (TALK!) 23:14, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Victoria Justice discography

[edit]

I would ask you to stop making edits like the one you recently made to the Victoria Justice discography article, replacing the provided sources with links to Apple Music. In WP:ELNO, it's written individual web pages that primarily exist to sell products or services, or to web pages with objectionable amounts of advertising should be avoided; WP:ALBUMAVOID even directly states: Online retailers such as iTunes and Amazon.com should also be avoided. It can be seen as inappropriate to directly link to a site where one can purchase the subject in question. Wikipedia's role should not be used to advance the sale of an album nor to promote one retailer over another. Additionally, remember Wikipedia articles should mainly be based on secondary sources to confirm the notability, which is pointed out in WP:PSTS. Given these arguments, I would like you to finally stop replacing sources with those from Apple Music, because not only is it unhelpful, but it's also not entirely in line with the policies. This isn't the 1st time you've edited like this, after which I had to revert it, and I've already given reasons for doing so in the edit summary, citing the policies.

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make disruptive edits to Wikipedia contrary to the Manual of Style, as you did at You Go Your Way (Perrie Edwards song). livelikemusic (TALK!) 04:35, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your refusal to respond on talk pages and to adhere to the Manual of Style is alarming. livelikemusic (TALK!) 16:00, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Tears (Perrie Edwards song), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Consider this your final warning. Your continued ignorance of the Manual of Style is unacceptable, and refusing to talk on your talk page shows you are not here to edit constructively towards the encyclopedia. livelikemusic (TALK!) 14:29, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I am genuinely baffled at your refusal to discussion on your talk page about this, Dhiego. Your continued violation of MOS:MUSICCAPS is now entering into vandalism, considering you continue to make the same edits over and over again, despite revert(s) citing the previously-linked MOS policy, which states: For titles of works and releases, descriptive phrases in parentheses or after dashes, such as "remix", "acoustic version" and "remastered", should not be considered part of song titles and should not be capitalized. Edits like this and this, amongst your other varied edits are a violation of this MOS. Not to mention, continuing to make those edits after you are reverted is a violation of the BOLD, revert, discuss cycle, as well. livelikemusic (TALK!) 18:03, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Dragon Ball Daima, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Xexerss (talk) 14:35, 19 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Liam Payne discography. Breaktheicees (talk) 22:18, 27 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summary

[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account, you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! Hotwiki (talk) 00:35, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced edits

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Hotwiki. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Twice singles discography, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hotwiki (talk) 00:35, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:32, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! RachelTensions (talk) 05:45, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
