Hi Dgnjunk and welcome to Wikipedia. I reverted your changes to Regent University. You deleted en masse much of the article's content, including the name of the Chancellor in the infobox, mention of US World rankings, all mention of Bush Administration hires, Monica Goodling.

I will go through and add back in some of your edits that appeared to be constructive. I invite you to do the same and to come to the talk page to discuss some of the more sweeping changes you are recommending and search for consensus. Thanks and welcome!  ∴ Therefore  talk   21:34, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alexandria campus

[edit]

I have started a discussion about the satellite campus in Alexandria on the Regent University talk page. Please come and explain why we should delete its mention in the article -- I could use your help with verification. Thanks!  ∴ Therefore  talk   22:32, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Changes

[edit]

Dgnjunk -- I've added the following changes to Regent University:

  • Corrected (and cited) "establishment date" from 1977 to 1978
  • Corrected (and cited) from 9 to 8 "established schools"
  • Added citation for "The vast majority of Regent's students are enrolled in one of seven graduate or first-prof schools."
  • Changed "VA" to "Virginia"
  • Added School of Business is now the School of Global Leadership & Entrepreneurship
  • Changed Communication and the Arts to Communication & the Arts

These are all changes that you made that were part of my mass reversion. I have not deleted these items:

  • The Alexandria satellite campus (see above)
  • The fact that Pat Robertson is the chancellor and the founder
  • Much of the history, including motto
  • The (attributed) facts about their historical bar pass rates
  • The (attributed) US News Report rankings. These rankings are a common gauge. However, through discussions on the talk page, balance was added by including criticism of the rankings.
  • The (well attributed) Bush hires administration paragraph
  • Mention of Monica Goodling

Please come to the talk page and discuss these items. You will find that there have been extensive discussions about these matters. Mind you, nothing is ever "settled" on Wikipedia and further discussion is welcome and may in fact be warranted. Please read through these discussions and re-open any matter you would like. Please discuss these changes before making your edits -- seek consensus.

I also did not put back in the ABA competitions. However, there is an open discussion about this matter on the talk page. It is my opinion that this information (though you need to add attribution) is both notable and relevant to the page and I welcome your voice. I believe that it can be added back in with additional discussion.

Thanks -- and again, welcome -- your additions, ideas and viewpoints are more than welcome.  ∴ Therefore  talk   23:37, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

After precise analysis of your changes, please see [1] to see that I have added in all of your smaller edits which are critical for precision and consistency.  ∴ Therefore  talk   00:16, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
