Information icon Hello, I'm CityOfSilver. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Serge F. Kovaleski, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! CityOfSilver 19:55, 22 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mark Proksch, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jaws (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:15, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You were correct in the idea to remove needless extras, but seeing as the vast majority of media coverage of her speech was criticism (even CNN were unusually critical [1]) and seeing that this was indeed the first such event to include such profanities these points are significant enough to be mentioned. Branding all the reviews as just 'criticism & praise' is a gross misrepresentation of the true response. Tim (talk) 23:24, 29 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you - because it's a very fresh news story, let's see how things progress, how the fire dies down, and then see if it needs to be updated. - DFLovett

Brief slugs

[edit]

If all you want to type is a brief slug, please do so in draftspace, such as Draft:Periscope (agency). There is insufficient information or source material in Periscope (agency) to satisfy the requirements of WP:NCORP. I have redirected the title to its parent company. Hope that helps, Cabayi (talk) 17:12, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to Stillwater Area High School appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. It is your responsibility to properly link any names you add to notable people or alumni lists. Also, if there is no sourced content in the individual's wiki-bio tying them to the community or school, you must provide that. These things are not optional. If you do not know how to create a wikilink or a reference, please make use of the Teahouse. They're more than happy to help you. John from Idegon (talk) 03:22, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This warning is to let you know that biographies of living people are subject to certain restrictions. In particular, putting unproven allegations into the lead sentence of a biography is against Wikipedia policy. Allegations can be in the text of the article, and sometimes even in the lead section, but not in the lead sentence that defines who/what the person is. -- MelanieN (talk) 22:09, 28 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Dflovett

Thank you for creating Blue Door Pub.

User:North8000, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Good start. Article was tagged by another reviewer in February 2020. IMO WP:notability is borderline. Not so weak to take this to AFD, but not strong enough where I'm comfortable with removing the tag. Suggest finding & adding another source or two with in-depth coverage and also development more text from those sources. I'm marking it as reviewed. Happy editing.

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|North8000}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

Deletion discussion about The 20 MSP

[edit]

Hello Dflovett, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, The 20 MSP, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The 20 MSP.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Wasianpower}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
