The article LEPTON CMS has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable software, fails WP:PRODUCT and WP:GNG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ukexpat (talk) 19:58, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

LEPTON CMS references

[edit]

Dear wikipedians, please have a look an tell me if more references are need for removing the removal tag. Thanks. --Develope PC (talk) 19:49, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings. I saw your help request, so I took a look. Unfortunately, when a deletion tag is applied, it's considered bad form to remove it before the discussion has run its course, and especially bad form if the article's creator is the one who removes it. The issue isn't necessarily a specific number of sources, but whether the product is indeed notable. Often product articles are added to advertise its existence, not describe its notability, so the project is careful to look at such articles and, when an editor feels something may not be notable, will tag it as such.
At this point, by all means continue adding information to the article. Also, take part in the discussion on the article's talk page to defend your reasons why the article should not be deleted. Be sure to read the sections linked by the editor who posted the deletion tag to see if you can address the concerns raised. I hope this helps, but feel free to post a help request again if you have any problems or comments.
