Speedy deletion of "1949 World Ice Hockey Championships"
[edit]A page you created, 1949 World Ice Hockey Championships, has been tagged for deletion in accordance with our deletion policy. In particular, it meets one or more criteria for speedy deletion; the relevant criterion is:
- Patent nonsense and gibberish, an unsalvageably incoherent page with no meaningful content.
You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.
If you have any questions, please contact an administrator for assistance. Thank you Antonio Lopez (talk) 22:40, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Private investigator. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. —Elipongo (Talk contribs) 22:50, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Northeast Surveillance Services. —Elipongo (Talk contribs) 23:03, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Northeast Surveillance Services
[edit]A tag has been placed on Northeast Surveillance Services requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on Northeast Surveillance Services, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of Northeast Surveillance Services and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Accounting4Taste:talk 15:24, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

Request reason:
I do not think this block is fair. I am trying to write a series of articles about private investigative services accross the world. These articles are not directories but discussions on licesure issues and regional, private investigative, trade methods. I would hope; instead of blocking me, you would help me write these articles since I am somewhat bussy this month. Detective81
Decline reason:
You were blocked for edit warring, that is, fighting over a revision to a page with another user. You can't do that here. You also don't appear to recognize that that's not an acceptable practice here. In the future, I would suggest discussing the changes you'd like to make, with the other editor, of someone reverts you, instead of just going back and forth with them. — SQLQuery me! 18:44, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Northeast Surveillance Services and variants
[edit]Please can you stop creating articles about this company. It does not meet Wikipedia's notability requirements for companies and your repeated and deliberate evasion of article title protection in order to advertise your organisation is at the point where it could be considered to be disruptive editing and if you continue will lead very swiftly to you being blocked from editing again. Please understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia not a directory. Kind regards, nancy (talk) 06:46, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
The article Private Investigator Service and Licensure in Massachusetts has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Phearson (talk) 04:51, 25 December 2011 (UTC)
