Request reason:

Hi, I was recently blocked after creating an account and making a single edit that was ultimately provided with sources. Not too familiar with sock puppetry, but I haven't had an account long enough to commit annything block-worthy so I feel there's been a mistake. Thanks for reading Detectionist (talk) 23:43, 18 January 2016 (UTC)-[reply]

Decline reason:

As anyone (including you) can see, you've been tagged as a sock of a globally blocked user. OhNoitsJamie Talk 23:55, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I see that I've been tagged as a sock, I'd just like to know the reason and if there's an accepted way to get untagged. Thanks again for reading. Detectionist (talk) 19:16, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Quack. The reason that you are blocked as a sock is because you very obviously are one. You might, perhaps, achieve unblock by pursuing the standard offer at your original account. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 12:10, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'll leave your appeal for another admin to review, but the short is answer is no and no. Your block evasion was quite obvious. The only way you will be welcome to edit Wikipedia again is if you pursue the standard offer for blocked users. Beeblebrox (talk) 19:27, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
