U.S. Global Strategy to Empower Adolescent Girls

[edit]

Hello, thanks for writing this article! It looks like an interesting topic.

One thing I'm wondering is if it would be possible to add a bit more third-part analysis and coverage of this plan in reliable sources like interviews with experts, journal articles, news media. Has it failed, succeeded, been pretty much what was happening already? Which countries has it had an effect in - poor ones, rich ones, Muslim ones, South America? What budget is allocated to it? That kind of thing. Let me know if you have any thoughts or questions about this. Blythwood (talk) 20:05, 6 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The article U.S. Global Strategy to Empower Adolescent Girls has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Very little third-party coverage and I can't find any more. Governments produce position papers on their plans and funding criteria all the time - few such documents are individually notable, although sections of this article may be good to add to articles on specific government bodies or issues that the plan tries to combat. Claim that the plan is based on International Center for Research on Women research isn't sourced, so this may fail WP:SYNTHESIS.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
