Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 05:34, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your last-minute comments

[edit]

I urged you a long time ago to read WP:DELETE ... and specifically WP:AFD (I should have added WP:NOTVOTE). An AfD typically runs for at least 7 days, according to policy. Second, be aware that unlike many of my colleagues, I am not a deletionist - if I see any hope of saving an article according to Wikipedia policies, I do what I can. Because of this, I did advise you to not have me list it for AfD, but you insisted - I knew in advance what the result of an article with poor notability and poorer reliable sources would be. This has nothing to do with you the editor, it has to do with the subject (unless you are the subject and this is an WP:AUTOBIO - in which case WP:COI would have applied, which would make it worse). I'm going to repeat: the article was CSD'd fully according to policy, now it has been deleted under a deletion discussion - according to policy. By going through an AfD, you have pretty much ensured that the article can never return (barring massive re-writing). You're welcome to further ask me question about the process, but railing against some perceived unfairness when I advised you what the outcome would likely be.
