Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Your recent editing history at Martyr shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. GB fan 15:22, 1 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop assuming ownership of articles as you did at Martyr. Behavior such as this is regarded as disruptive and could lead to edit wars and personal attacks, and is a violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Edit warring at Martyr

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at Martyr. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

The complete report of this case is at WP:AN3#User:DeputyBob reported by User:SummerPhD (Result: 24h). EdJohnston (talk) 19:20, 1 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

User Talk page comments

[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as User_talk:Flat_Out#regarding_martyr are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics. Note: If you have come to wikipedia to spread your religious views and opinion you are wasting your time. If you edit articles you must follow wikipedia policy, if you can't do that you should leave now and spend your time on something more constructive. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Flat Out let's discuss it 23:24, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did on User_talk:GB_fan#Martyr_ownership_of_articles. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Flat Out let's discuss it 23:31, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on User_talk:Flat_Out#regarding_martyr. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Flat Out let's discuss it 00:38, 12 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#User:DeputyBob regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.

After reviewing comments you have already made, you might also want to look at WP:OWN and WP:NOTTRUTH, two guidelines of which you seem unaware. ~Amatulić (talk) 03:14, 12 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your last warning. The next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at User_talk:NeilN#Hadiths_of_the_prophet_Mohammad_sallalahu_aleihi_we_sellem, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. NeilN talk to me 18:06, 7 September 2013 (UTC) yea i dont really care what guidelines of wikipedia are, i am not a slave to wikipetia i am a slave to God subhanawatealla , now that being said why would i go follow wikipedias guidelines when i follow God's guidelines. Hadith does not mean tradition, faith does not mean tradition, religion does not mean tradition, tradition only means tradition, ok? are you smart enough to comprehend discerntion between religion and tradition?[reply]
