I'm still learning. For now, I'll just edit some older aircraft that seem to have dead lines, but lots of inaccurate or missing data. Someone may find the information interesting some day. Not much interest putting new information on the older CZAW SportCruiser page, since it doesn't apply to that airplane. Dennisolcott (talk) 04:08, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

Working with us, not agaist us
[edit]If you are who I think you are, you should actually be in a position to know more about the PiperSport that I or the other WP editors invovled in the edits or the article. However, there are certain WP policies that need ot be followed. If you can do that, I promise we can try to make the articls on the PiperSPort as accurate as possible.
First, WP requires REliabe sources (the blue links I'm using go to the respective policy pages, just in case you weren't aware of that.) ZDirect company info can be used, but WP preferes third-party published sources with a track record of reliability (print or internet). Company sources can be used for specifications and such, and other information such as dates. If the information you've provieded proves accurate, the PiperSport articel will probably be restoerd. For now, there is now hurry to do that today, as WP does not have deadlines.
Second, persons involved with a company in any capacity need to be ware of a Conflict of Interst. While this policy does not preclude a person from making any contributions to articels related to their compay, care does need to be exercised.
Third, it is difficult for WP to use many inages if the copyright is not clear. For exmple, sometimes people add images of aircraft, such as the 787, to an articel, with claims that they took the picture. However, I and other editors have found the pictures online at aviation sites such as AvWeek with the copyright of the exact inage attributed to Boeing. I think the image you used was found on such a site, with is why it was tagged for deletion.
There are ways in which companies or related individuals can release images for use on WP, and their ownership of the copyright verified. I can try to put you in contact with someone who can guide you, or a PR representative, through this process, if it is so desired.
I apologize if I've caused you any difficulty, and I hope we can solve the problems in short order. Thanks. - BilCat (talk) 03:57, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
