Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:STIdelivers logo small.JPG, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:STIdelivers logo small.JPG has a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission, which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3). While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, this is in fact not the case[1][2]. If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not an advertising service. Would you try to get an entry on your company into Encyclopædia Britannica? To put in plain and simple, I deleted the article "Specialized Transportation Inc." because it was an attempt to advertize.

To your employer (you can quote me on this if they ask you why there is no article): It is standard practice for Wikipedia administrators to delete articles of this sort. Your employee made a good effort, but the article was still far from acceptable. I take responsibility for my deletion, as is expected to me. Please do not blame this fellow for having nothing to show. And most importantly, please do not send any more employees to advertize for you here; Wikipedia is a volunteer-written encyclopedia, and must be kept clean of advertising. You got a good answer the first time, actually; just because you don't like Wikipedia's policy doesn't mean my answer is bad. ;-) Anyways, as I already said, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. You admit on your user page to being a marketing specialist, and you tell me you created the article for your employer. I am convinced you are only here to advertize your company. I repeat, would you mail Britannica the stuff you posted here? No? I didn't think so.
I realize you are in a hard position. I'm not trying to suppress information, I don't have a vendetta against your company. You tried to advertize on Wikipedia, and your article got deleted. It has happened thousands of times before, and it will happen thousands of times more. You can tell your employer that the article was deleted by an evil Wikipedia admin if you would like. Picaroon (Talk) 00:50, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Your determination impresses me. First of all, I mentioned your job title because you were trying to pretend you weren't advertizing. I didn't even see your userpage until after the first message you left on my user talk page. You also said "I have nothing to show my employer tommorow morning." So I think it's pretty obvious that you didn't decide to create this article all by yourself. Next, you say "deleted our site." The page was not yours. It was Wikipedia's. And when one of Wikipedia's pages doesn't comply with policy, it gets deleted by us sysops. Furthermore, what does "You ran the original decision that the article was too short" mean? I deleted it because it was advertizing. And finally, believe it or not, I haven't done anything wrong here (I've actually extended you far more patience than most admins would; I hope you've enjoyed our discussion and learned something about Wikipedia). If you would like to go to my employer and have them evaluate my "decision skills on deleting articles," then I wish you the best of luck. Wikipedia isn't my employer. Now that I've explained why I deleted your article for the third time, I'd like to request that you let the subject drop. If you have any questions about Wikipedia unrelated to this article then I'm happy to answer. Otherwise, have a nice day. Picaroon (Talk) 01:18, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
