The Orianne Society moved to draftspace
[edit]Hi DenaSchertzer, I have moved this to draft space because it is not yet ready for publication. A cursory search I made indicates that the society may well be able clear our general notability guideline; unfortunately, you have made zero use of sources that actually demonstrate so! Notability on Wikipedia has to be established by demonstrating non-trivial coverage by multiple reliable sources unconnected to the subject - i.e, we require references to news items, magazine articles, TV coverage, book entries, and similar. But currently, almost every reference you provide in the article is WP:PRIMARY : produced by the society itself. You can see how that cannot be used to clear the notability hurdle.
Please try to source the article for the major part with secondary sources of the type listed above. Primary sources are fine for uncontroversial information about the subject, but there needs to be a substantial amount of secondary coverage to clear the notability hurdle.
When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. People will then vet it for these criteria and let you know whether any further improvements are needed. Cheers --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 16:05, 2 April 2018 (UTC)
