December 2023

Information icon Hello, I'm Dr Greg. I noticed that you recently removed content from Counties of the United Kingdom without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.  Dr Greg  talk  18:28, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:Politialguru per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Politialguru. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Izno (talk) 23:59, 22 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Wrongly blocked

Decline reason:

If we unblocked everyone who said just that, more or less, we might as well not block anyone. — Daniel Case (talk) 07:34, 23 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I believe my case should be reviewed because it appears I've been blocked on the basis of using multiple accounts when I have not. I briefly read the relevant case page and an administrator stated clearly it's merely "possible" I've been abusing accounts, but can't say conclusively. That is to say there's no conclusive evidence, or in other words, no evidence that would stand up in court. From my pov, it's clear this has been a mistake and since administrators also recognise this is a possibility; I'd be grateful if my case could be reviewed when possible. Many thanks.

Decline reason:

This isn't a court of law. Please address the concerns raised at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Politialguru. Yamla (talk) 10:28, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
