[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Saint Joseph, Missouri. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. SudoGhost 22:34, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
It seems there is some confusion in regards to the Saint Joseph, Missouri article, and I thought I'd try to clear that up. Merely being a resident of the city is not sufficient to be added to that list. An individual must meet the criteria listed here as well. Essentially, a person must be notable to be listed. Additionally, without proof of notability, we have no way of knowing if a name is notable. As you are adding yourself, there is also a conflict of interest there. If you feel your name is notable enough for the article, and can show with reliable sources that you are notable enough for the article, then I would suggest discussing it on the article's talk page. If it can be demonstrated that the individual (in this case, yourself) is notable enough to be listed, another editor will be happy to add it to the article. - SudoGhost 22:43, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
