User on Wikia
[edit]A user registered themselves under your username on Wikia and I would like to confirm if this is you or not. Comparing Talk:Neopets#Vandalism and the request at Wikia:requests:Kirbish I believe that this may not be you. But I need some confirmation. Dantman 05:20, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- We have a shared computer, and someone might've logged on after I fixed a typo on Wikia. I have a habit of leaving my user on because nobody uses Wiki at my household. My cousin came over the other day, so I guess they tried to request whatever Kirbish is. I did add something about the New Kirbish Rebellion on the Internet Troll section, but that was reverted. Sorry about the mix-up, though. Deletion Quality 18:58, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- Perhaps you should invest in a whacking stick? ;-) be sure to keep your account secure ~ Anthøny 18:04, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
- You have recently re-created the article Smashboards, which was deleted in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policies. Please do not re-create the article. If you disagree with the article's deletion, you may ask for a deletion review. JuJube 05:26, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, JuJube, if you check my contributions, you will see I did not recreate the page. However, I'll do the deletion review. Thanks. Deletion Quality 15:48, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

Your VandalProof Application
[edit]Dear Deletion Quality,
Thank you for applying for VandalProof! (VP). As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that at this time you do not meet the minimum requirement of 250 edits to mainspace articles (see under main here). Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank you for your interest in VandalProof. Daniel 03:41, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
Status update request.
[edit]Hello,
Recently, you submitted a request for editor assistance regarding a deleted article. As a courtesy follow-up, I wanted to see if you had any further comments on the responses provided.
Please feel free to leave a message on my talk page at your earliest convenience. --Aarktica 15:18, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for replying. Good luck with the rewrite of the article. --Aarktica 15:29, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you.
Kind regards,
Anthøny 18:03, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
It didn't survive at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Smashboards --Steve (Stephen) talk 23:21, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
- I see what you mean. Actually, that was before the current rewrite, but I don't know if that goes for all versions. Del
The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! The Great Revival: CVU Vandalism Studies Project
[edit]Hi! We're dropping you this rather unexpected message on your talk page because you signed up (either quite a while ago or rather recently) to be a member of the Vandalism Studies project. Sadly, the project fell into semi-retirement a few years ago, but as part of a new plan to fix up the Counter-Vandalism Unit, we're bringing back the Vandalism Studies project, with a new study planned for Late 2012! But we need your help. Are you still interested in working with us on this project? Then please sign up today! (even if you signed up previously, you'll still need to sign up again - we're redoing our member list in order to not harass those who are no longer active on the Wiki - sorry!) If you have any questions, please leave them on this page. Thanks, and we can't wait to bring the project back to life! -Theopolisme (talk) & Dan653 (talk), Coordinators
Invitation to the African Destubathon
[edit]Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
Nomination of Woodward Camp for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Woodward Camp is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Woodward Camp until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Andise1 (talk) 16:45, 5 August 2017 (UTC)
The article Urban Youth Racing School has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:NORG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. SITH (talk) 13:00, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
