Doug, meet Angela Cherry....

Hey, Doug! I've been distracted from WikiProject Agriculture for a bit, so I returned today to start filling in the redlinks in the section on cherry cultivars. My first effort was for Angela cherry. Needless to say, this was a curious one to research -- especially when Google pulled up articles like "The Nine Lives of a Topless Bar"! In any event, expect a cherry harvest in the near future. Hope all is well! Ecoleetage (talk) 20:08, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

...and I just added the Ulster cherry (I was expecting an orange-coloured cherry, but it appears to be dark red). That one had a bit more flesh to it than Angela, so I put it up for DYK. More cherries to follow... Ecoleetage (talk) 00:45, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Doug, thank you for your attention ref Sikh Extremism I would like to point out that admins Flewis and DJ Clayworth voted to keep the article along with many editors, and the final decision was not to delete. Unfortunately the article is continually subject to vandalism by user Sikh-History Satanoid (talk) 11:20, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Replied at User talk:Satanoid.--Doug.(talk contribs) 15:12, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Doug, I am getting tired of the bad faith being spread by Satanoid, and anyone that disagrees with his point of view. Blogs cannot be used as refrence. Please see Satanoids previous history of using spoofs and sock puppet addresses to get an idea of where and who has been creating vandalism. Furthermore, there was no consensus reached in deleting this article.--Sikh-history (talk) 15:51, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Don't worry about it. Follow my advice, edit - don't proselytize, and ignore this user. If he or she continues to accuse you of vandalism, consider taking the issue to WP:WQA or WP:MEDCAB if Satanoid will participate. Or insist he take the matter to WP:AIV if he believes he has a real issue with your editing.--Doug.(talk contribs) 15:12, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RE MfD nomination of User:Apovolot

Please be notified that my intent is to request deletion review ... Here is my reason for such request: there was no consensus on delete decision so it is your judgment which resulted in deletion ... Apovolot (talk) 03:53, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion review for User:Apovolot

An editor has asked for a deletion review of User:Apovolot. Since you closed the deletion discussion for this page, speedy-deleted it, or otherwise were interested in the page, you might want to participate in the deletion review. Apovolot (talk) 04:24, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is still some sort of a technical bug with this entry at the DRV. The original DRV template was filled out incorrectly by Apovolot when he listed this item at DRV. Later User:Eluchil404 fixed it[1] (or so it seemed) and the item now appears correctly in the December 3 log page Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2008 December 3. However, for some reason, this entry still does not show up in the Dec 3 list on the main DRV page, WP:DRV, in the list of active discussions (the only Dec 3 item that showing there is July 29 in rail transport). This must be some sort of an after-effect of the the fact that the original template was filled out incorrectly. I looked at the Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2008 December 3 source file but I can't makes heads or tails as to what exactly is causing the problem now or how to fix it. Doug, could you please take a look? Thanks, Nsk92 (talk) 05:22, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I looked and couldn't figure it out but it now appears to be solved, at least for this listing, there was a new listing added above it which doesn't show but now at least this one does. I'll note the matter on the DRV talk page and see if someone can figure out the problem.--Doug.(talk contribs) 06:28, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If it doesn't show up add "?action=purge" to the end of the url and see if that helps, if you're using the WP:DRV redirect rather than Wikipedia:Deletion Review you'll need to follow the redirect and add the purge language again. This should clear up the current issue and seems to show everything, but I agree there was an issue earlier because I hadn't been to DRV in a long time and so it wasn't in my browser cache to begin with.--Doug.(talk contribs) 06:32, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK, thanks. Whatever it was, it seems to be fixed now and both the Apovolot enter and the list of swords entry now show correctly at the main WP:DRV page. Nsk92 (talk) 06:37, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Doug I want to create non-indexed user subpage and move the original content of (as some people on Mfd suggested me to do) - am I "WP legally" allowed to do so ? Apovolot (talk) 18:56, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rachel Carson?

Hi. I got a message from you saying my IP had made bad edits to a page about Rachel Carson. Just to let you know, I've never edited that page, and I have no idea who might have. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.137.185.228 (talk) 04:14, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
