Notice

[edit]

Your addition to Iranian Queer Organization has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Gobonobo T C 19:57, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.
The next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did to Iranian Queer Organization, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. The article Saghi Gahraman has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. VQuakr (talk) 04:34, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

i never used improper references or materials. some users are uploading false information on wikipedia. They are abusing the freedom that Wikipedia has provided to its users. All of what I have edited so far has reference and they are able to be legally proved. I believe I should have the right to edit false information that has been uploaded on wikipedia. Thank you

Decline reason:

This is such a good block that it could be used as an example of why we have the biographies of living persons policy. In Iran, there are legal penalties- very serious ones- for homosexuality. You're publicly identifying living Iranian people as homosexuals, and not providing any sources that would verify that. Maybe the person you're writing about is proud to be publicly identified as a lesbian, and happy to risk the penalties. Or maybe she is a woman who turned you down, and now you're trying to get revenge by publicly accusing her of being gay.. Since none of the sources you provided verify the information you're claiming about her, except the one that is not an independent site and would be easily faked, there's no way to know, and I personally don't want her blood on my hands if this information isn't accurate. Or even if it is accurate, but not public. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 11:27, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. I have nominated Saghi Ghahraman, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Saghi Ghahraman. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
