Request reason:

Dear colleagues, I have spent a lot of time patrolling recent edits and tried my best to revert all edits that seemed to be disruptive. I restored entire pages and paragraphes after blanking, reverted suspicious or harmful edits whenever I found them. If I was wrong in some cases, I'm terribly sorry for that, but my only intention was to defend pages from countless vandals and all kinds of disruptive behavior. I have no idea why my account should be blocked, even if I made some mistakes (it looks like I restored some useless stuff, believing that it was unreasonably removed by one of many suspicious IPs. My bad, I should have paid more attention to the details), as I only wanted to help protect this project from vandalism. I may not be a contributor, as I don't write articles, but I believe that my work here was helpful for the community. DefendingPages (talk) 21:35, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

Having looked at your editing history I am at a loss to see the reason for the block: what you have said about your editing seems to be right, so I am unblocking your account. However, I shall consult the blocking administrator, and if he knows of some problem that I can't see then the situation may have to be reviewed.
