Well...

Ok, but the Turkish historians greatly outnumber the Western ones who oppose the thesis. How about "Turkish and other historians"? —Khoikhoi 16:34, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Seljuks

[edit]

I don't see what's wrong with saying it. I think it's interesting to show that he was Persian. The reason it's not stated for the other people is because most of them were Turks (hence the title). I don't understand what was with the last sentence you said, but no, this isn't part of some conspiracy theory. —Khoikhoi 01:11, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps you haven't noticed, the "History of Turkey" infobox is at the bottom of the page (it's in a different style than the History of Iran one). What articles in particular? I see you've seen Foreign relations of Syria and Foreign relations of the Republic of Turkey, but what else? I apologize for being rude to you, I've just been a bit tense lately, that's all. —Khoikhoi 01:31, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You're very correct about the last thing you said, just look at how the Moldova page was attacked yesterday by an ultranationalist banned user. What is also true is that one extreme leads to another, which is one of the reasons why we have such users in the first place. If everyone would just take the middle road we'd be fine, but unfortunately that doesn't seem to happen. —Khoikhoi 02:38, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cheap tactics revelaed

[edit]

You may want to read some of the cheap tactics confessed by Fadix and THOTH [1] :) 24.211.192.250 18:06, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I know, I read it and its shocking really! Cheers, bud ;-) 81.62.133.27 18:34, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
deep, I agree but im being chased by biased admins so I cant help staying down low for now! 81.62.133.27 18:42, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The way they play the innocent while they employ tactics to scrare people off and hijact the page makes me sick.Turks you are always in defense. I think you should be charging. why dont you prepare a nice article on Armenian revolts and uprising and post it. make it balanced and based on truly reliable sources. Then they should come and try to chance it... the hand will be yours. And I have to say that you are not playing well. Look at them they are so good at looking decent despite their agenda yet you are the ones who are always getting the bans!

have you seen that and guess who is there again. [2]

do you have an email that I can send something.neurobio 23:14, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

i mailed you and take a look at this also!!! [3]

FYI

[edit]

You broke the 3RR on Armenian Genocide, but I'm not going to report you as I'm not that much of a dick. Just be more careful in the future, thanks. —Khoikhoi 02:34, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

According to WP:3RR it is every 24 hours, I learned that the hard way when I was a new user. No, as I said, I'm not going to report you. Kolay gelsin. —Khoikhoi 02:44, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User notice: temporary 3RR block

[edit]

Regarding reversions[4] made on June 14 2006 (UTC) to Armenian Genocide

[edit]
You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.
The duration of the block is 24 hours. Apologies. I must have forgotten to paste in the std message. Here it is William M. Connolley 19:56, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
My contribution [5] was discussed in the talk page [6]. In contrast, users Tasc, Eupator, and John_Smith's do not engage in the discussion page and keep reverting the article. I did not violate the 3RR rule. I made 3 reverts but not more, also notice that the times reported by John_Smith's in [7] do not match my contribution history, so I'm not sure what those edits are. Please also note that John_Smith's reverted the article for the same edit 4 times in the last 48 hours [8], [9], [10], and [11]. I'd appreciate if you reconsider your decision. Thanks Deepblue06 20:05, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You have 4R: 3 marked, one labelled Opposition - Roderic Davison re-added, see talk page. Times: this often confuses, as a mix of local/abs times. Check the minutes. Talk: talk is good; lack of talk may get you blocked for longer, but presence of talk doesn't make you immune to 3RR William M. Connolley 20:16, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I don't agree that the edit labelled " Opposition - Roderic Davison re-added, see talk page " is a revert. On another note, I believe that a user (John_Smith's) who reverts the article 4 times in 48 hours for the same specific point without engaging in the continuing discussion in talk page shoud be also blocked. My contribution was addressed in the talk page [12] and was not further contested. Deepblue06 20:21, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
