The article Álvaro Blanco has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. — Jeraphine Gryphon (talk) 20:39, 18 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Suhel Suhabarat[edit]

The article Suhel Suhabarat has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Looks like a hoax to me. Seems to have scored an awful lot of goals for Johor, but was mysteriously not featured in their article until this article was created. Has since been removed from their squad listing as well. the reference provided is simply a google search for people with that name, which doesn't bring up anyone who is a footballer.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Proposed deletion of CD Bilbao[edit]

The article CD Bilbao has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Looks like a hoax to me, can't see any reference to a team of this name any where, the reference provided has nothing to do with the club, I don't see any evidence of their existence in the WP articles for the leagues in which they are supposed to have played, the stadium listed is not their ground and none of the players linked actually go to articles about footballers playing for this club. Everything about this article smells fishy, but I don't know enough about low level Spanish football to say for sure.

Do not create, add, maintain, insert, or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia, such as you did with the article Johan Jamaza. Usually, hoaxes will be caught and marked for deletion shortly after they are created. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia – and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. Please don't create such obviously fake articles and please do not vandalise pages so blatantly as you did here. If you create any more hoax articles or vandalise any other articles, you will be blocked from editing. Fenix down (talk) 12:23, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Invite to the African Destubathon[edit]

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
