References

[edit]

Could you add independent references for the footballers you are creating articles for? Just using the club website isn't really enough. Peridon (talk) 19:54, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Koko Sakibo has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Debtirthapati! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot notifying you on behalf of the the unreferenced biographies team that 4 of the articles that you created are currently tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 687 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Santosh Oraon - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Sagram Mandi - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Players on trial

[edit]

Hi, a player, who is on trial with a club does not mean that he's a part of the squad. Only if he satisfies the club's management with his performance, then he's normally offered a contract upon which he becomes a part of the squad. Please do not add all and sundry players who come for trial to a particular club in the list of their current squad, as you did with this edit in the article on East Bengal Club. Thanks.
