KRV (band)

[edit]

First, I've straightened out the licensing situation on KRV (band). The text was copied from Wikimetal.[1] However, Wikimetal's license terms state that text from there is under GFDL, so it is usable on Wikipedia.

Second, I notice that you're the creator of the image on the band's article. Do you have a conflict of interest with the band, since you have done illustrations/artwork/photography of them in the past? If so, the article will need to be flagged for that issue as well.

I say as well because there is a current problem with the article: it cites no reliable sources. As you agreed when you posted it, "Encyclopedic content must be verifiable." If independent sources are not provided, the article could be nominated for deletion.

Please reply here to address the artwork/conflict of interest and sourcing questions. I'll be watching your talk page to see when you reply.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on KRV (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. — Timneu22 · talk 15:28, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Marko Sinadinović, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. →GƒoleyFour02:25, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
