[edit]Hi Dballouz! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |

[edit]Hello, I'm Malke 2010. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Super-spreader because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Malke 2010 (talk) 21:15, 20 April 2014 (UTC) Welcome!
Welcome
[edit]Hello, Dballouz, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to Super-spreader does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.
There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{Help me}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Malke 2010 (talk) 21:21, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
- Edits such as "All of these factors combine to the transmission of the disease. When the factors all combine in a certain way so that only a few organisms infect much of the population, superspreading is in play," are considered original research and violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. Your edits here here and here suggest a synthesis of published material that advances your point of view on what defines a super-spreader. Please review the above links in the welcome message for more information on how to edit a Wikipedia article. Thank you. Malke 2010 (talk) 21:26, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
Un-Warning
[edit]Hi Dballouz,
Sorry you've had a rough time getting started here. Please disregard the threat above. Given Malke's excessively confrontational behavior here if this came up for review there is little doubt in my mind that the sanctions would be directed to him.
Drop me a note on my user page if I can be helpful in any way, or if you are the private type, send me an email at formerly98@gmail.com. I'll be monitoring this page and the overall situation until it is resolved.Formerly 98 (talk) 01:36, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
- Same here. I read the blog article and a lot of the responses. Yes, it can be rough getting started here, but feel free to drop me a line if Formerly 98 is out of town again on one of their junkets. Drmies (talk) 23:57, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
- I also read the blog article - feel free to tap me for help as well, if you like. (I'm not a sciency-type person by any means, but I'd be happy to help you navigate some of the bureaucratic stuff. And I do hope you haven't been scared off.) --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 15:30, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
