Sardinia Artcle

[edit]

Is there any particular reason why you chose to undo the attempts to fix the grammar on that page (both as your self and as IP 78.13.205.14)? If I was guessing it appears that you are using a translating program to convert Italian to English. Romaioi (talk) 13:33, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Scratch the undoing of grammar comments. I understand what you were trying to do, but you still managed to undo some rectified grammar in the process. Romaioi (talk) 14:06, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sardegna

[edit]

I explained the situation on Talk:Monte Limbara. What you wrote appears to have been a copy and paste from http://www.bikevillage.it/index.php?pg=51&shn=57, which is normally copyright infringement. However, it appears that their site was copied from the Italian Wikipedia. The two translations could have happened independently, but it seems unlikely. I'm unsure of who translated it now, but it appears not to matter.

When translating material from other languages, please note it in the edit summary, so you give the contributors on that Wikipedia credit. -- Austin512 (talkcontribs 16:58, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Corsica Ferries Sardinia Ferries, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Corsica Ferries. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 13:32, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The name of ferry company is "Corsica Ferries Sardinia Ferries", not "Corsica Ferries" so the title of the previous article is wrong, someone have to correct it Daygum (talk)

I've just redirected the page back to Corsica Ferries. The "move" tab at the top of a page will allow you to move a page (and more importantly it's edit history) to another location. "Copy and paste" moves cause problems in Wikipedia because they lose the edit history of the page.
All that said, "Corsica Ferries" seems to be the name of the company. See Wikipedia:Naming conventions for policy too. --rannṗáirtí anaiṫnid (coṁrá) 14:39, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of CRS4

[edit]

A tag has been placed on CRS4 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. November 2009

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Banco di Sardegna. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. A More Perfect Onion (talk) 17:42, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

sicerely i don't know where is the problem??? i wrote references, external links and also bibliography about the page Banco di Sardegna, moreover i don't know because that page about an italian bank could be deleted Daygum (talk)

The page Banco di Sardegna is not up for deletion, just for expansion. Please improve the page to demonstrate notability of the company with good reliable sources, preferably in English. Thank you. --A More Perfect Onion (talk) 17:51, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ethnic groups in Europe

[edit]

Grazie ancora ciao Ampsicora (talk) 21:59, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Efisio Arru requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Guillaume2303 (talk) 18:15, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re

Are you trying to scare me ? i have explained several times why i have removed that portion of the text, check the sources and you will see that i'm right, those groups of people were too few for having an impact on sardinian demography or even culture....that picture is useless, menhir are not even mentioned in the text, explain me why you have removed the picture of the domus de janas then..Note that i wrote most of the two articles (prehistory section of Sardinia while Sardinian people is basically a translantion from my article on the italian wiki) so don't treat me like a troll or somenthing PLEASE! --Xoil (talk) 07:08, 24 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The article Ambra Medda has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Promotional article that doesn't establish the subject's notability. My Google News search brought up various interviews, but no independent coverage beyond the trivial.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
