  1. I think the Order_date, nickname, and motto ought to be invisible-if-not-added. So many ships don't have them, and probably never will. Done.

  2. I think there ought to be a little whitespace between the table and the text beside it. The table I'm currently using has some other slight stylistic differences; see User:Wwoods/Fletcher class destroyer page template. (Check out the number of red links in the class template!)

  3. I like to put the Fate and Struck_date in chronological order. Done. Maybe an AltFate after the latter--with instructions to choose one(1)?

  4. Further line items: Boats (landing craft and such). Done. I had another example but it's slipped my mind. But one of the advantages of this thing, it seems, is that other items could be added without putting a horrid line in every table already made without it.
    • Submerged endurance, for non-nuclear submarines;
    • Troop capacity and Cargo capacity might be distinguished

  5. For ships with a second career about which almost nothing is known, I just put them all on one page, with one table. Adding multiple careers in one table could be difficult. See USS Herndon (DD-198) for an extreme example.

    • Or not!!! Wouldn't it be really easy to make an alternate version of the table with all the "else"s blank? Then I could stack up several instances of the table, putting the image and first career in one, then the second career in another, etc., and finally the specs.
